DRICLE LLP is the data controller for Outbid.place. This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Your advertisement: name, website, logo, description and colour. This is public by design. It is shown on the map and in the public list of recent purchases.
- Purchase details: Stripe collects your payment details, email, billing address and optional tax ID. We receive the email, name, address and tax ID so that we can issue invoices. We never see your full card number.
- Usage statistics: we use a self-hosted, cookieless analytics tool (Rybbit) that records page views without identifying you.
- Technical data: your IP address is processed by our hosting and CDN (Cloudflare), and by Google when the map loads (Google Maps).
Why and on what basis
- To show your advertisement and process your purchase (performance of a contract).
- To keep invoices and accounting records (legal obligation).
- To keep the site secure and understand how it is used (legitimate interests).
Cookies
The map and these pages set no cookies. A short-lived session cookie is set only when you return from checkout.
Who we share it with
We share data with Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and CDN) and Google (map display), and with no one else. We do not sell personal data. Some of these providers process data outside the UK under standard contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
Advertisement content is kept while it is on the map and in the purchase history. Invoices and billing records are kept for 6 years, as UK law requires.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you can ask for access to your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, restrict its use, move it, or stop using it. Email the address below. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
